The Audi FIS World Cup takes place March 9-12, 2017 and marks the return of World cup ski racing to California for the first time in 19 years. The event includes concerts, a festival Village and a Women’s Giant Slalom and Slalom on Red Dog on the lower mountain at Squaw Valley.
The FIS Ski World Cup will be bringing Olympic champions like Mikaela Shiffrin, Lindsay Vonn and Squaw Valley’s own Julia Mancuso to compete in slalom and giant slalom on the legendary Red Dog run. This World Cup event will give the Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows community a one of a kind chance to witness and be inspired by world-class ski racing at our very own home mountain. There are three ways to view the World Cup action at Squaw Valley: Club, VIP, and Grandstand viewing. All are now SOLD OUT, but there will be limited free standing room viewing near finish arena as well as skier spectator viewing on looker’s left of Red Dog Face.
