Plumpjack Squaw Valley has delayed the tear-down and rebuild for their property to a year from now, citing the need to redesign the layout and concept of the property due to overwhelming interest.
This has Buyers and customers of the beloved establishment both happy (we can still eat at the best restaurant in Tahoe!) and sad (when will it be updated though, for crying out loud??).
According to a representative of the marketing and sales team for Plumpjack’s, the key factors attributed to this delay are:
- Offering additional residences due to strong demand.
- Project redesign necessitates new plans and permits delaying the May 1, 2018 commencement, which in turn affects the completion of necessary work required before the local October 1st deadline.
- Overall costs requiring a redesign of a non-residence portion of the project.
The current site map for the development can be found here.
Interior renderings show a pretty clean presentation. We’re curious to see where this project goes, and hope it comes together soon! Call me with additional questions or to discuss reserving a unit for yourself!
