The sun is finally shining, and oh my goodness am I ready to revel in the light and warmth!
I recently became the caretaker of the most beautiful living object I’ve ever gotten to be a part of: a 1966 Ford Mustang convertible! She’s absolutely gorgeous.
With that, and a boat on the horizon (literally??) I am so ready to work hard, and play harder this summer! Let the warm air tousle my hair.
It feels like the rest of Tahoe (and California in general??) feels the same way. Pent up excitement and energy is about to explode with all the great events coming up in the foreseeable future. First, we have the Tahoe Yacht Club’s Annual Summer Kick Off First Friday, June 7th, 5-8 pm. Interested members are invited to see what we’re all about, and best of all, I’m the member sponsor! I’ve got As You Wish catering providing delicious food, Dan Copeland singing and playing the guitar, and a signature drink, games, and more! Hope to see you there!
On Thursday June 13th 6-8 pm, I’ll be entering my gorgeous new beauty in the Summer Solstice Tahoe City Classic Car show!
Hosted by the Kiwanis Club of North Lake Tahoe, this will be a fun evening of Tahoe’s finest ladies and gents!
Then we’ve got the Tahoe City Wine Walk, June 15, 1-5:00 pm. I am head of the planning committee, and boy, do we have some surprises in store for you! Stop by the Sotheby’s International Realty office in downtown, and see for yourself what we’re up to. It’ll be amazing. There are 32 stops on the walk this year. Unbelievable! Tickets are almost sold out, so grab one while you can! My mom will be in town, and I’ll be setting up shop for the event, and then wandering around with her. Can’t wait!
